Chocolate cake "Vupi pai"

Chocolate cake


  • 100 g of butter
  • 110 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g of flour
  • 65 g of cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla sugar
  • 100 ml of milk

For cream

  • 200 ml thick cream (for whipping)
  • 1/2 tbsp. l. powdered sugar


  • Blend the softened butter with sugar.
  • Add 1 egg and beat thoroughly once more.
  • Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla sugar.
  • Gradually add milk and flour mixture to the butter.
  • With a tablespoon, put the dough on the parchment and level it a bit, giving it a circle shape.
  • Bake at 175 C for 10-12 minutes. Cool down.
  • Prepare the cream: whip cream with powdered sugar.
  • For one half of biscuit, apply cream with a spoon or with a confectionery bag and cover with a second half. If desired, you can decorate cakes.
  • Before serving, cool the "Vupi Pai" in the refrigerator (about 30 minutes).
