It's not just a treat, it's a symbol … You can make delicious chocolate, which will even surpass the taste cooked in a cafe, at home. Here it is, a signature recipe for hot chocolate , which risks becoming your favorite. A heady aroma will fill the kitchen already at the beginning of cooking!

How to Make Hot Chocolate


  • 1 cup of cooled fat cream.
  • 2 cups whole milk;
  • 50 g (about 1/2 cup) of milk powder;
  • 3 g (about 1 teaspoon) of cornstarch;
  • 1 glass 60% dark chocolate, cut into pieces.


  • To begin with – we will understand with cream. Place the cream in a bag in the freezer for five minutes. Chilled whipped cream whisk to steep peaks.

  • A good idea from the chef: in order to save time, you can use several coronals at once. Cream will be whipped instantly!

  • Bring the milk to a boil over medium heat, stirring. Slightly reduce the heat and add to the pan pieces of chocolate, stirring vigorously until the chocolate dissolves. Then add the milk powder and corn starch, stirring all the time, until the chocolate becomes thick, sticky. Check if there are no lumps, if you find out – make hot chocolate homogeneous, so the taste will be tender.

  • To taste the chocolate turned out really rich and fully revealed, the drink should boil twice. This is a prerequisite for a successful dessert.

  • Spread a fragrant chocolate with a rich taste on the cups, add on top a spoonful of cold cream, directly on the chocolate. What a charm it turns out!

    In order to successfully put cream on top of chocolate, take a spoon and wet it in hot water so that it becomes warm. Dry it and collect the cream, gently holding the spoon towards you. Get the perfect cream top!
