"Monkey" salad

Hooray, there are still a few days before the merry New Year celebration! Let him come on the eastern calendar a little later, but I want to meet the Fiery Monkey on the first of January … What a New Year's Eve without champagne, tangerines and salad "Olivier"? They certainly will show off at every festive table … But we offer you another interesting idea: to prepare an original salad , which will become the main decoration of your feast. Even the lady of the coming year will appreciate!

"Monkey" salad


  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g of cheese
  • 350 g champignons
  • 100 g of peeled walnuts
  • 200 g prunes
  • 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • black olives for decoration
  • salt, pepper, mayonnaise to taste


  • First of all you need to cook chicken breasts and eggs.
  • Chop onion and champignons. Fry in vegetable oil first onions, then add mushrooms. Fry for about 10 minutes.
  • Soak the prunes in boiling water for about 10 minutes, nuts a little fry, and the cheese of sodium on a large grater.
  • Already boiled eggs and meat a little cool and finely cut.
  • Mix all the ingredients and add the mayonnaise. And do not forget to salt and pepper!
  • Crush the blender nuts and finely chop the prunes.
  • Lay the salad on the dish. Using a spoon, form the head of a monkey.
  • Now sprinkle the salad with chopped nuts.
